I know it’s hard to take the bad with the good, to accept the lessons life is trying to teach you. I know it's hard to believe that what hurt you, did not break you, it shaped you. I know it’s hard to find purpose in the unruly and unwanted storms that cascade through life, but believe me, they are not meant to weigh you down. They are meant to build you up, to bring you to a place of becoming, of evolving. The most difficult moments will shake you up and tear you open — they are the ones that water your roots. They create space for growth, for change, for transformation. In this place of discomfort, you learn about yourself. You discover what you deserve. You recognize the power of your own strength. Sometimes in order to become the person you are meant to be, you have to grow in ways you never imagined. You have to plant seeds in the places that ache the most. You have to accept that what’s coming next may not be easy, but it will be worth it. Wherever life plants you, trust in your journey and lean into your growth. Do not dwell in your storms, learn to weather them. You need both the light and dark in order to bloom — there are no flowers without the rain.
